Résumé
Kitty et ses amis montent et présentent des pièces de théâtre librement adaptées de grandes références théâtrales ou cinématographiques mondiales : Chatula (inspiré de Dracula), Le magicien de Miaou (inspiré du Magicien d'Oz), etc.
Commentaire
Première série TV réalisée autour du personnage de Kitty (créé en 1976 par la firme japonaise Sanrio), elle nous vient pourtant des USA.
La diffusion française a eu peu d'écho en 1989, peut être du fait de l'absence de produits dérivés mais surtout du fait de la faible audience de l'émission Câlin Matin.
On pourra regretter que le générique utilisé lors de cette diffusion soit resté en anglais et qu'on ne puisse profiter désormais d'une version française au style"années 80".
Cette série a de nombreux points communs avec la série Hello Kitty : Le petiut Théatre de l'Animation, mais c'est bien cette dernière qui suit le chemin tracé par son ainée.
